Today I’m sharing a simple card using KLM Digital Design – Pen Pal Gnome from the July 2024 release that I made. This image also comes with 2 more sentiments, “I miss you everyday, but today you get a card” and “Better than a text”.

To make this card, I began with Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb. cut to the size of 5.5″ x 4.25 for the base card.

The image and sentiment were imported into Microsoft Word and printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card and the image was coloured in with Copic markers listed below. For some finer lines for the feathers, Prismacolor Premiere pencils were added after doing the base with the Copic markers. The finished image and sentiment were cut down to the same size as the base and applied to the base card using double-sided tape.
