Today I’m sharing a card that I made following a video from the The Coloring Channel – Cherry Blossom colouring class by Alyce Keegan. She taught us how to colour this beautiful flower in this amazing class. She challenged us to colour a flower. I have always found flowers challenging to colour and so that is why I selected this one.
The base card was created to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium 110 lb. Cardstock. Recollections – Matte Gold Foil cardstock was die cut using Product Well – PWD-08 Rectangle Feather Deckle Edge Nested Die Set and applied to the base using liquid glue.
The image provided by Alyce was printed out with my Epson Printer onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using High Quality Greyscale and coloured in with Copic markers as per the class instructions. The finished image was then die cut using the same die set mentioned above. U-Line Double-Sided foam tape was attached to the back of the image and it was popped up onto the card. I chose a sentiment from Paper Rose Studio – Happy Birthday Sentiment Sheets and went around the edges with a Copic R85 marker and popped it up onto the card using U-Line Double-Sided foam tape. Lastly, I coloured some white pearls with Copic Marker R83 and attached them to the card to finish it off.
