Thank you KLM Designs for sponsoring us. Today, I’m sharing a card I made using a combination of KLM Designs –  Owl and Sentiments and RoadSign Gnome. I really love your adorable images and working with them.

To make this card, I first imported the image and sentiment into Microsoft Word and printed them out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Dies were used to die cut the image and My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Layers were used to cut the black frame. The image was coloured in with Copic markers. Then I printed out the images again and fussy cut them to create masks. I applied them over top of the coloured images and applied the clouds in the background using Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Salty Ocean and cloud stencils I had created from Avery Elle – Pierced Clouds Die (D-05-01).  The base was created with Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock cut and folded to the size of 5.5″ x 4.25″. I attached the black cardstock and completed image to the base using double-sided tape.
