Today I’m sharing  Pumpkin Girl (KLM Digital Designs) image from the October release. This little lady has her pumpkin all picked out for Thanksgiving. Now she can make some pumpkin pies and then carve out the pumpkin for Hallowe’en. Here in Canada, we celebrate our Thanksgiving this weekend. So Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I printed out the main image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using my HP Printer. I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut around the image and then fussy cut it in a few places. It was then coloured in with Copic markers. The sentiment was printed out on plain white cardstock and then I fussy cut around it, in order to spread it out. Then I ran it through my Xyron Create a Sticker and attached it to some black cardstock. Then I fussy cut around it again.

The backgrounds were die cut with my Cuttlebug and My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Dies and My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Dies Layers. The printed background was then inked around all of the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Carved Pumpkin.

To assemble the card, I began with a white card base of 5.5″ x 4.25″. The 2 background pieces were adhered to the base using double-sided tape. The image and sentiment were both popped up using 3M VHB – 2 sided tape. Finally, some Kraftin’ Kimmie – Krafty Dots were added as embellishments.
