I was late sending out a friends card recently, so today I’m sharing a card I made using (Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps) Long in the Tooth!, Turtle-y Awesome! and Oceans of Love. For the background, I used Kraftin’ Kimmie Stencils Krafty Scenery 3 and Basics Stencil. I just love these little images and thought this cute sentiment was perfect for a belated birthday.

To create this card, I cut Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. paper at 5.5″ x 4.25″. I created the background clouds using Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Salty Ocean and Kraftin’ Kimmie – Basics Stencil. The ocean and waves were created using Kraftin’ Kimmie – Krafty Scenery 3 and Krafty Kolours – Lovely Lagoon and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Salty Ocean. The white caps were created using Copic Opaque White. The sun was also created using the same stencil using Krafty Kolours – Summer Sunshine. The sand was created using a mixture of the 2 stencils and Krafty Kolours – Sandy Shores. The images were coloured with Copic markers and then I used my Brother Scan and Cut to die cut them out. I went around each one of the images with a black marker and then ran them through my Xyron’s and placed them onto the background. I used some pop-dots to adhere the seashells to the card.
