Vet Thank You Card

Recently our little girl (cat) Boo was very sick. The amazing staff at Robinson’s Pet Hospital managed to help save her life and make her healthy enough to come back home to us. Since then, she has been doing amazingly well. “Boo” means so much to us and we’re glad that she is back to her old self.

Here is a card that I made to thank the Vet (Dr. Emmanuel Aziz) and his terrific staff.

Used Cricut Design Studio and Cricut Explore to cut out the doctor and nurse are from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge. Stamped their faces with Peachy Keen PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment. Used Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen for their eyes and some pink chalk on the cheeks.

The little cat is from Local King Rubber Stamps “Kitty Love (4)” and the matching die Kitty Love (S). Coloured the kitty in with a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.

The sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Tissue Time”. I re-arranged the sentiment so that it would fit on the card.

The tag is from MFT – Die-namics Pierced Fishtail Flags.

Background paper is from DCWV – The Pets Stack 6.5″ x 4.5″ printed cardstock.

Inching Along

Thought I’d share a card with you that I made from my Craftin Desert Divas Just Bugcause stamps and dies.

Inching along Front 300 dpi

I used the background paper from Patterned paper  – Kaitlin – Recollections Signature 12 x 12 Paper Pad. Love this design.

I stamped the snail twice and coloured in the base, then cut out the shell from some paper  I had mixed my Rangers Alcohol Inks on and thought it looked great for the shell.

I cut out the shell separately and placed it on top of the coloured snail. Spectrum Noire marker and Prismacolor Premier Pencils were used to colour in the snail.

Used my Cricut Explore to cut out the sun from Cricut Cartridge – Create A Critter – #M37746.

Grass – Cricut Cartridge – Ribbons & Rosettes – #M41AB5.

For the face on the sun,

I used Peachy Keen – PK490 – Everyday Character Face Assortment.

Hello There,

Like to share the tear bear I made using Teacup Panda from Kadoodle Bug Designs. (Cutie KaToodles – Teacup Panda).

My second attempt at tear bears. Lots of work, but I’m loving it. Outlined paws with Spectrum Noir Marker.

Eyes with Pigma Micron 05 marker.

Patterned paper  – Kaitlin – Recollections Signature 12 x 12 Paper Pad.

Belated Birthday inside 300 dpi

For the inside, I cut out the snail from Cricut Cartridge Birthday Bash. Then I stamped the face with Peachy Keen Stamp Set – PK490 – Everyday Character Face Assortment. I added in some extra eyelashes and used my White Gel pen on the eye. Used chalk for cheeks, outline of snail and for shadow below snail. For the shell, I used some paper that I made using the Tim Holz Ranger Alcohol Inks.
