Made this card to enter into Kadoodle Bug Challenge.

To make my card, I used Cricut Design Space and Cricut Explore.

The .svg files for CK Cricut Snowman and CK Cute Little Deer are from Kadoodle Bug Designs.

Trees are from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Made the snow on ground with Craftin Desert Diva’s – Outdoor Landscape Dies and Recollections Christmas Ink Jet Printable Glitter Paper. Aleene’s Glitter Snow below snowman and reindeer.

Falling snow – Craftin Desert Diva’s – Across the Borders stamp and Ranger White Embossing Powder – Super Find Detail.

Background – Watercolour paper, Tim Holtz Distress Inks – Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Broken China and Shaded Lilac.

Background paper – American Crafts – Wish List Paper pad, 6×6 in. (15.2 x 15.2 cm)

Sentiment – Craftin Desert Diva’s – Polar Pals.

My Creative Time – Stitched Squares – Inside and Out.

Vet Thank You Card

Recently our little girl (cat) Boo was very sick. The amazing staff at Robinson’s Pet Hospital managed to help save her life and make her healthy enough to come back home to us. Since then, she has been doing amazingly well. “Boo” means so much to us and we’re glad that she is back to her old self.

Here is a card that I made to thank the Vet (Dr. Emmanuel Aziz) and his terrific staff.

Used Cricut Design Studio and Cricut Explore to cut out the doctor and nurse are from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge. Stamped their faces with Peachy Keen PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment. Used Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen for their eyes and some pink chalk on the cheeks.

The little cat is from Local King Rubber Stamps “Kitty Love (4)” and the matching die Kitty Love (S). Coloured the kitty in with a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.

The sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Tissue Time”. I re-arranged the sentiment so that it would fit on the card.

The tag is from MFT – Die-namics Pierced Fishtail Flags.

Background paper is from DCWV – The Pets Stack 6.5″ x 4.5″ printed cardstock.

Christmas Penguins – Igloo card

Hi There,

Back to share a Christmas card that I made this past weekend.

The adorable penguins are from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Chill Out” stamp set. I just fell in love with these little characters.

The sentiment is also from the same set.

I stamped the little penguins with Memento Black Tuxedo ink and then coloured them in with a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.

To make the eyes shiny, I used Glossy Accents. Also, first coloured in the little tree balls and then added some coloured “Stickles”.

To make the igloo from “Go Canada”, I used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore, black, gray cardstock and Glittered Christmas Cardstock for the white.

The tree to the right of the igloo is from Miss Kate Cuttables. I really love this little tree and with being an .svg file, I can make them all different sizes. Added some Wink of Stella – Glitter White to the snow on the tree. Unfortunately, it does show up that great in this pic.

Added some “Sookwang Be Creative” double sided tape over heavy weight white cardstock by AC Cardstock to make the snow using my Cuttlebug, embossing folder  “D’vine Swirl”. Next, I die cut the snow with Craftin Desert Diva’s “Outdoor Landscape” dies. After that, I peeled off the top layer of the tape and sprinkled DecoArt Glamour Dust onto the embossed image. I felt this gave the snow more sparkle.

The die cut border was done with my Cuttlebug and the dies from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Fancy Frame Dies”. The patterned paper is from “Home For Christmas” Paper pad 6″ x 6″ pad.

I also used this die cut on the Swirly snow base as well.

The card base is from Recollections “Frost” Card and Envelope set.

Back again to share a Monster Birthday card that I made using some stamps, dies and sequins from Craftin Desert Divas.

To make my card I used the following:

Craftin Desert Diva’s Fancy Frames, Party Dies, Monster Mania stamp set and Corn Maze sequins.

I also used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore to die cut the images for the Monster Mania stamps from an .svg file of the same name.

Next, I cut paper pierced the monsters.

I had some Monster paper and balloon paper on hand and thought it would go great with this stamp set.

Images were coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers and PrismaColor Premier Pencils with Gamsol.

I really loved this set. It was so much fun to create with.

Super Mario Minion Birthday Card

Hi There,

Sharing a Super Mario Birthday card that I made for my nephew.

The .svg file was from the SVG Cuts “One in a “Minion” Blog Hop!” on June 12, 2015. The file was only available at the time of the hop.

To make this card, I imported the .svg file into Cricut Design Space and then used the Cricut Explore to cut out the pieces.

LOVE  my Cricut Explore!!!

I needed to find some brick to put the characters up on, so I went shopping looking for an embossing folder or die cut. Couldn’t find any and then it dawned on me.

I have Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore. I could just make my own wall!!!!

I used the round corner rectangle and made various sizes, cut them out and placed them onto a solid colour. Voila! I had my brick wall.

For the background I used #Summer Paper Pad 6 x 6 in (15.2 x 15.2 cm) from American Crafts.

The sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas – Little Super Star.

Balloons are from Frances Meyer – Stickers – (FST 955 Balloons).

White stitching around the pocket is made with

Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen.

Snowman Globe

It’s Christmas in July!

Here is a snowman shaker card that I made.

To make the card, I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the snow globe from “Cricut Cartridge – Joys of the Season – #M3EAF0″.

To make the window, I merged together the large circle and a small rectangle in Cricut Design Space.

Next, I put the smaller globe on top of the merged piece and then used the slice tool.

This enabled me to cut the cardboard pieces out. I cut out 4 pieces of thin cardboard and then glued the cellophane across the top.

I had received some flowers and kept the cellophane that they used to wrap the flowers up with.

Works great for shaker cards and it cuts easily.

Used my Cuttlebug to cut the Snow using Craftin Desert Diva’s – “Landscape Dies” then embossed with “D’Vine Swirl”

Background paper behind snowman is from Recollections Signature – Blue Christmas 6 in x 6 in paper pad.

Snowmwan’s jacket was paperpierced from DCWV Premium Paper Pack – Assorted papers.

Card base is Recollections – Frost.

I used Spectrum Noir Pens LV1, LV2, CR4, BT1 and Blender pen to colour.

Memento – Tuxedo Black was used for sentiment and for stamping the snowman.

I like to share a StarWars birthday card that I made.

Yoda and Jabba are from the SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop on May 4, 2015.

Used Cricut Design Studio and my Cricut Explore to cut the images.

for sentiment on front of card.

Ground beneath Yoda is cut using my Cuttlebug and

new Craftin Desert Diva’s – Outdoor Landscape Dies.

I then chalked the tops of the mounds with brown chalk to make them stand out more.

Hi There,

Like to share a Thank You card I made for my neighbour for coming to my rescue the other day. Needed to go in for some minor day surgery and my husband just started a new job and therefore couldn’t take me. My neighbour was so good, she took me to the hospital and stayed the whole time with me. 7 hours in total if you include the drive time. I’ll be eternally grateful. It’s so nice to have great neighbours that you can depend on.

Hi There,

Created this card for the Craftin Desert Divas June Anything Project.

Sweet Pea - Get well soon - in 300 dpi

For this project, I used the stamps from Garden Cuties and the sentiment on the inside from Craftin Desert Diva’s Tissue Time.

All stamping was done with Memento Tuxedo black ink.

I cut out the frame for the inside of the card using Craftin Desert Divas Tag Essential Dies and my Cuttlebug.

Used my Cricut Explore to cut out the Pea pod design from sweetpeajoanneb, which was a free .svg file.

The background papers are from Ki-Doilies Paper Pad by Hamtpon Art.

Coloured in the stamps with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then used Gamsol and PrismaColor Premier coloured pencils to do the highlights.

Inching Along

Thought I’d share a card with you that I made from my Craftin Desert Divas Just Bugcause stamps and dies.

Inching along Front 300 dpi

I used the background paper from Patterned paper  – Kaitlin – Recollections Signature 12 x 12 Paper Pad. Love this design.

I stamped the snail twice and coloured in the base, then cut out the shell from some paper  I had mixed my Rangers Alcohol Inks on and thought it looked great for the shell.

I cut out the shell separately and placed it on top of the coloured snail. Spectrum Noire marker and Prismacolor Premier Pencils were used to colour in the snail.

Used my Cricut Explore to cut out the sun from Cricut Cartridge – Create A Critter – #M37746.

Grass – Cricut Cartridge – Ribbons & Rosettes – #M41AB5.

For the face on the sun,

I used Peachy Keen – PK490 – Everyday Character Face Assortment.

Belated Bithday Card

Hello There,

Like to share the tear bear I made using Teacup Panda from Kadoodle Bug Designs. (Cutie KaToodles – Teacup Panda).

My second attempt at tear bears. Lots of work, but I’m loving it. Outlined paws with Spectrum Noir Marker.

Eyes with Pigma Micron 05 marker.

Patterned paper  – Kaitlin – Recollections Signature 12 x 12 Paper Pad.

Belated Birthday inside 300 dpi

For the inside, I cut out the snail from Cricut Cartridge Birthday Bash. Then I stamped the face with Peachy Keen Stamp Set – PK490 – Everyday Character Face Assortment. I added in some extra eyelashes and used my White Gel pen on the eye. Used chalk for cheeks, outline of snail and for shadow below snail. For the shell, I used some paper that I made using the Tim Holz Ranger Alcohol Inks.

Mother’s Day Card 2015

Hi There,

Sharing a card I made for my mom this year using Craftin Desert Divas Rain or Shine stamps and Sentiments.

I used my watercolour pencils to do the background. Then I used my Cricut Explore to cut out all of the hearts, mom and red puddle.

The red puddle is supposed to represent a puddle of love. I thought the hearts went with the sentiment for raining down love.

Here’s a closer look of the little girl. I coloured her in with my Prismacolor Premier Pencils and then blended with Gamsol.

I used my Gelly Roll Pen 08 for the eyes.

For the blue puddle, I cut out the puddle with my Cricut Explore and then added Glossy Accents. I also paper pierced the pattern in the umbrella and added a few small hearts.

Girl Bear Birthday Card

Hi There! Thought I would share a card that I made for my aunt’s birthday.

This was my first attempt at the tear bears. I used the cut files from Too Cute By Jessica – Marjorie Ann Designs using my Cricut Explore.

I won the cut file playing Bingo during the Craftin Desert Diva’s New Stamp Release Blog Hop. It was a lot of fun.

The sentiments and face on balloon are from Peachy Keen PKSC-25 January 2014.

The card was cut out with We R Memory Keepers – Quickkutz Nesting Frame 7 dies and my Cuttlebug using various colours of cardstock.

Cupcake cardstock is from Doodlebug Design Inc. 6 x 6 Paper Pad – 4202 Sugar Shoppe.

The yellow frill on the dress and had were both done with Flowersoft.

Lastly, I added in some little sprinkle gems that I had.

The little rabbits are from my new stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas (www.craftindesertdivas.com) Hunny Bunny stamp set. I just love it.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the little bunnies and the sentiment. Next I drew in the inside of the rabbit ears, face, hands, feet and tail with my Micron 05 Black pen. I used my copics to colour the background for the sentiment.

I used We R memory keepers Quickutz Nesting Frame 7 dies to cut the layers of coloured paper using my Cuttlebug.

I used the same stamp set for the bunny in the basket and the sentiment. I coloured in the bunny, eggs, basket, etc. with my Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. Finished off the highlights with my PrismaColor Premier coloured pencils and Gamsol.
