Sharing a card made from Too Cute By Jessica – Christmas Animals SVG Cuts designed by Jesssica Owens 2014.

Here is a close-up of the image.

Using my Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space, I uploaded the images and then cut the pieces out for the cat and wreath.

I decided to add some layers to the wreath using Martha Stuart branch punch and then adding some Xmas Red stickles to make some holly.

For the eyes, I used Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen. I drew in some eyelashes with Pigma Micron 01 black marker, but you can’t really see them. Thought it would be a cool idea to use black thread for the whiskers to show up.

Sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder White – Extra Fine Detail.

Stamp used is from Jaded Blossom Stamps – Meow and Forever.

Die cuts are from My Creative Time – Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies.

Embossing folder used – Swiss Dots was then used on the scalloped die cut and on oval – Christmas Ornaments on Recollections – Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper – 8.5 x 11″.

Background paper is from American Crafts – Holiday – 6 x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) paper pack.

Hi There,

Sharing a couple of cards made from Too Cute By Jessica – Christmas Animals SVG Cuts designed by Jesssica Owens 2014.

Using my Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space, I uploaded the images and then cut the pieces out for the little animals.

Here is a close-up of the image:

For the eyes on both cards, I used Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen and General’s Charcoal White 558 Pencil, black chalk for the shadow and Pigma Micron 01 black marker for the eyelashes.

For the background snow, I used White Permanent Chalk Marker on blue cardstock.

The background papers are from Pebbles – Home for Christmas paper pad – 36 papers- 6 x 6 in (15.2 x 15.2 cm).

My Creative Time – Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies were used for framing the deer.

For the mound of snow I used Recollections – Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper – 8.5 x 11″ and Lawn Cuts – Simple Stitched Hillside Borders – Lawn Fawn.

Ribbon banner is from Craftin Desert Diva’s – “Flag Banner Dies”

Sentiment – My Creative Time – Prehistoric Holidays Stamp Set.

Using the same die cut set, I also made this cute little duck card.

For the music background paper, I stamped the musical notes with Recollections – Capturing Special Memories wooden stamp, Versa Fine – Onyx Black and Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder. Then I inked up the paper with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Vintage Photo.

The patterned paper behind the duck is from American Crafts – “Holiday” 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm).

The patterned paper above the musical notes is from Heidi Swapp – HS01073 – 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm).

Carousel Card

Hi There,

Stopping by to share a carousel card that I made using Too Cute by Jessica .svg cuts from Scrapbooking Mice – Jessica Owens 2016 and HB2U Car – Jessica Owens 2015.

I wanted to make a unique and different card using the Scrapbooking mice, so I decided to make it a step-by-step card using a carousel look.

Used largest die from Marianne Design CR1236 to make doilies for joining papers to make the carousel.

Winter Polar Bear

Hi There,

Thought I’d share another Christmas card that I just finished for this year. Only about 45 more to go!!!!

To make this card I used the .svg cut from Too Cute By Jessica called Winter Polar Bear – Designer Jessica Owens 2015 and cut it out on my Cricut Explore after I finished uploading the image in Cricut Design Space. Used Sharpie Water Based Paint – White – Extra Fine Point, General’s Charcoal white for the eyes and Pigma Micron 03 black marker for the eyelashes.

Added some Clear – Wink of Stella on the red portion of the candy cane and Wink of Stella – Glitter White on the white pieces.

Ranger Stickles Yellow Glitter Glue for the centre of the pointsettia.

Here is a close-up of the bear.

All patterened papers are from Pebbles – Home for Christmas paper pad – 36 papers- 6 x 6 in (15.2 x 15.2 cm).

Inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Pine Needles and Memento Dew Drop – Lady Bug ink.

Sentiment is from Popcorn the Bear – Christmas Collection. Also used Craftin Desert Diva’s – Flag Banner Dies. Stamped sentiment with Versamark and then used Ranger Embossing Powder White – Extra Fine Detail.

My Creative Time – Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies were used for framing the bear.

Birthday Bears

Back to share a card that I made using Too Cute By Jessica Bears from Too Cute by Jessica – Birthday-Girl-Bears

and Too Cute by Jessica – Birthday Boy Bears for my Aunt’s birthday.

Sentiment on front of card is from JadededBlossom stamps “Party Animal”.

Dotted eyes with Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen. Used Wink of Stella – Clear on the pompoms and on the base of hat to add some extra sparkle.

I made the card so that the 2 front panels opened up to reveal the sentiment.

Here are some close-ups.

The bears were really fuzzy, but I put them through the Xyron, so they look a little bit scruffy. LOL! I still like how they turned out though. Hope you do too!

My aunt really loved her card. Made me very happy!

I used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore to cut out all of the pieces. For the bears, I used the scoring tool and mulberry paper. Then I just outlined the pieces so that I could see them better. Wet around the outlines and pulled my bear pieces apart to make them fuzzy. Added some brown chalk to give the edges some added dimension.

On the inside, I added this sentiment from “Whatnot Sentiments Set Three – Your Next Stamp”.

Graduation Card

Hi There,

Sharing a graduation card that I made using Too Cute By Jessica – Graduation Pals.

I thought this file was so cute! Used Cricut Design Space and Cricut Explore to cut out the pieces. Then ran everything through my Xyron. Used some inks to ink the edges and put the card together on blue Recollections Card Stock. Lost his little nose somehow after I had cut it out! LOL! So, I used the cut out to draw it in with my Zig marker and then drew him a little mouth.

Used pink chalk for the cheeks.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time – Happy Everything Stamp Set. Used Versamark – Onyx black and then Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder for “graduation”.

Used Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen for the eyes.

Birthday Party Hat

Hi There,

Back again to share a card that I made using one of last week’s Kadoodle Bug Designs Party freebies .svg’s called Party Hat Cutie by Melissa Deuss 2016.

Here is a close up:

To make this I uploaded the image into Cricut Design Space and used my Cricut Explore to cut out the images. Inked around all of the edges and then ran the pieces through my Xyron’s. Makes it so much easier to put the pieces together. LOL!

The background paper is Forever In Time Paper Craft Collection – Cupcake Craze, which I picked up from our local dollar store. I just love how it went with this card.

The lettering is from Forever in Time Scrapbook Collection – Sticker Trendz – SS460A.

I cut out the borders with Craftin Desert Diva’s Fancy Frames. This has to be one of my favourite cutting die sets that I own.

My Creative Time: Fun Vertical Greetings were used for the frames around the wording! I really love this set too!

I dotted the eyes using Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen. Lastly, I added in a little bit of Craftin Desert Diva’s – Posies sequins.

Bears – SG Hugs and Kisses Bear

Hi There,

Like to share a special card I made for my dear sweet husband. I’ve been very sick over the past couple of weeks and he has been taking great care of me. Love him so much!

When we were married our theme was bears. So I thought this card was perfect.

I’ve included 2 images. The first image is before I put the shaker card together. The second image is the completed card.

The bears are from Too Cute by Jessica – SG Hugs and Kisses Bear by Saskatoon Graphics.

I uploaded the bear into Cricut Design Space and then copied it and made a mirror image. For the girl bear I added a little bow. Cut the designs out with my Cricut Explore.

For the sentiment and lips and hearts on the background, I used Peachy Keen Stamps – PKS-13 January 2013.

I stamped the sentiment first with VersaMark and then embossed with Ranger – Super Fine Detail Clear.

Sequence is from Craftin Desert Diva’s – Heart Breaker.

Heart patterned paper is from K&C Company – KP Valentine. Kelly Panacci.

Highlights on the eyes were done using Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen.

Craft foam was also used to make the shaker card.

Used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore to create the window and frame border for the shaker card.

I am also happy to announce that I am now a Designer for Too Cute By Jessica. YAY!

Christmas Penguins – Let’s Chill

Here to share another card that I made.

The adorable penguin and sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Chill Out” stamp set.

Included both pics as one shows the sparkle better than the other one.

I stamped the little penguin with Memento Black Tuxedo ink and then coloured it in with a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.

Used some DecoArt Glamour Dust on the hat and top of the stocking.

To make the eyes shiny, I used Glossy Accents.

The die cut frame was done with my Cuttlebug and the die from Craftin Desert Divas “Banner Dies”.

I used Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Snowflakes for the snowflake patter and AC Cardstock. After embossing, I used some light sandpaper to make the snowflakes stand out more. Then I added some blue gem stones. To make the snow, I used Gelly Roll Sakura #8 pen.

The design behind the penguin is from My Creative Time – “Stitched Belly Band Deies”.

The patterned paper background is from “Home For Christmas” Paper pad 6″ x 6″ pad.

The card base is white card stock.

Christmas Penguins – Igloo card

Hi There,

Back to share a Christmas card that I made this past weekend.

The adorable penguins are from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Chill Out” stamp set. I just fell in love with these little characters.

The sentiment is also from the same set.

I stamped the little penguins with Memento Black Tuxedo ink and then coloured them in with a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.

To make the eyes shiny, I used Glossy Accents. Also, first coloured in the little tree balls and then added some coloured “Stickles”.

To make the igloo from “Go Canada”, I used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore, black, gray cardstock and Glittered Christmas Cardstock for the white.

The tree to the right of the igloo is from Miss Kate Cuttables. I really love this little tree and with being an .svg file, I can make them all different sizes. Added some Wink of Stella – Glitter White to the snow on the tree. Unfortunately, it does show up that great in this pic.

Added some “Sookwang Be Creative” double sided tape over heavy weight white cardstock by AC Cardstock to make the snow using my Cuttlebug, embossing folder “D’vine Swirl”. Next, I die cut the snow with Craftin Desert Diva’s “Outdoor Landscape” dies. After that, I peeled off the top layer of the tape and sprinkled DecoArt Glamour Dust onto the embossed image. I felt this gave the snow more sparkle.

The die cut border was done with my Cuttlebug and the dies from Craftin Desert Diva’s “Fancy Frame Dies”. The patterned paper is from “Home For Christmas” Paper pad 6″ x 6″ pad.

I also used this die cut on the Swirly snow base as well.

The card base is from Recollections “Frost” Card and Envelope set.

Monster Birthday Card

Hi There,

Back again to share a Monster Birthday card that I made using some stamps, dies and sequins from Craftin Desert Divas.

To make my card I used the following:

Craftin Desert Diva’s Fancy Frames, Party Dies, Monster Mania stamp set and Corn Maze sequins.

I also used Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Explore to die cut the images for the Monster Mania stamps from an .svg file of the same name.

Next, I cut paper pierced the monsters.

I had some Monster paper and balloon paper on hand and thought it would go great with this stamp set.

Images were coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers and PrismaColor Premier Pencils with Gamsol.

I really loved this set. It was so much fun to create with.

Minion Birthday Card

Hi There,

Made this birthday card for my Super husband.

He means the world to me and I’m not to sure what I’d do without him.

My husband loves the minions, so I thought this would be a really cute card for him.

The Superman minion .svg file was from the SVG Cuts “Super Hero” Blog Hop!” on April 24, 2015.

Background cupcake pattern is from DCWV – Everyday Stack 6″ x 6″ paper pad.

Other background paper was found at the dollar store, so not sure who makes it. I thought it looks great for a birthday background though.

I used my Cuttlebug and Quickutz Nesting Frame 7 dies from We R memory keepers to cut out the shapes.

This is the inside of the card. I realized that I spelled “Your” wrong and fixed it to “You’re” with a marker later. Oops!

The Wonder woman minion .svg file was from the SVG Cuts “One in a “Minion” Blog Hop!” on June 12, 2015. The file was only available at the time of the hop.

To make this card, I imported the .svg files into Cricut Design Space and then used the Cricut Explore to cut out the pieces.

LOVE my Cricut Explore!!!

For the sentiments, I used the Magneto font in Microsoft Word and then just printed it out on my printer and cut around the wording.

Hope you like it! My husband thought it was pretty funny.

Snowman Globe

It’s Christmas in July!

Here is a snowman shaker card that I made.

This is a close-up.

To make the card, I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the snow globe from “Cricut Cartridge – Joys of the Season – #M3EAF0″.

To make the window, I merged together the large circle and a small rectangle in Cricut Design Space.

Next, I put the smaller globe on top of the merged piece and then used the slice tool.

This enabled me to cut the cardboard pieces out. I cut out 4 pieces of thin cardboard and then glued the cellophane across the top.

I had received some flowers and kept the cellophane that they used to wrap the flowers up with.

Works great for shaker cards and it cuts easily.

Used my Cuttlebug to cut the Snow using Craftin Desert Diva’s – “Landscape Dies” then embossed with “D’Vine Swirl”

Snowmwan’s jacket was paperpierced from DCWV Premium Paper Pack – Assorted papers.

Card base is Recollections – Frost.

I used Spectrum Noir Pens LV1, LV2, CR4, BT1 and Blender pen to colour.

Memento – Tuxedo Black was used for sentiment and for stamping the snowman.

Used Cricut Design Studio and my Cricut Explore to cut the images.

for sentiment on front of card.

Ground beneath Yoda is cut using my Cuttlebug and

new Craftin Desert Diva’s – Outdoor Landscape Dies.

I then chalked the tops of the mounds with brown chalk to make them stand out more.

Hi There,

Like to share a Thank You card I made for my neighbour for coming to my rescue the other day. Needed to go in for some minor day surgery and my husband just started a new job and therefore couldn’t take me. My neighbour was so good, she took me to the hospital and stayed the whole time with me. 7 hours in total if you include the drive time. I’ll be eternally grateful. It’s so nice to have great neighbours that you can depend on.

Hi There,

Created this card for the Craftin Desert Divas June Anything Project.

For this project, I used the stamps from Garden Cuties and the sentiment on the inside from Craftin Desert Diva’s Tissue Time.

All stamping was done with Memento Tuxedo black ink.

I cut out the frame for the inside of the card using Craftin Desert Divas Tag Essential Dies and my Cuttlebug.

Used my Cricut Explore to cut out the Pea pod design from sweetpeajoanneb, which was a free .svg file.

The background papers are from Ki-Doilies Paper Pad by Hamtpon Art.

Coloured in the stamps with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then used Gamsol and PrismaColor Premier coloured pencils to do the highlights.

Thought I’d share a card with you that I made from my Craftin Desert Divas Just Bugcause stamps and dies.

I used the background paper from Patterned paper – Kaitlin – Recollections Signature 12 x 12 Paper Pad. Love this design.

I stamped the snail twice and coloured in the base, then cut out the shell from some paper I had mixed my Rangers Alcohol Inks on and thought it looked great for the shell.

I cut out the shell separately and placed it on top of the coloured snail. Spectrum Noire marker and Prismacolor Premier Pencils were used to colour in the snail.

Used my Cricut Explore to cut out the sun from Cricut Cartridge – Create A Critter – #M37746.

Grass – Cricut Cartridge – Ribbons & Rosettes – #M41AB5.

For the face on the sun,

I used Peachy Keen – PK490 – Everyday Character Face Assortment.

Graduation Card for my Niece

My beautiful niece graduated recently and

I wanted to make her a very unique card.

I created the card front using her university colours.

Wine, white and blue.

For the inside, I saw something similar to this on an SVG Blog Hop and I knew I just had to make it. I missed the original blog hop, but was given a second chance during a second blog hop to purchase a previous blog hop through a donation. Long story short, I LOVED the card that I saw and decided to put my own personal touch to it.

With my Cricut Explore I cut out all of the following Cricut images:

Young graduate – Paper Dolls Teen Scene – S-Occssn – #M3F5E7.

Ovals – Phrases – zig zag oval label – #M3A497.

Scroll and sentiment – Wrap It Up – Congratulations – #M43331.

Timon Hula was from the Hakuna Matata Blog hop. I uploaded the .svg file and then used my Cricut Explore to do the cutting.

The long scroll I created in Microsoft Word by inserting the image and then put in my own sentiment.

Belated Bithday Card

Hello There,

Like to share the tear bear I made using Teacup Panda from Kadoodle Bug Designs. (Cutie KaToodles – Teacup Panda).

My second attempt at tear bears. Lots of work, but I’m loving it. Outlined paws with Spectrum Noir Marker.

Eyes with Pigma Micron 05 marker.

Patterned paper – Kaitlin – Recollections Signature 12 x 12 Paper Pad.

For the inside, I cut out the snail from Cricut Cartridge Birthday Bash. Then I stamped the face with Peachy Keen Stamp Set – PK490 – Everyday Character Face Assortment. I added in some extra eyelashes and used my White Gel pen on the eye. Used chalk for cheeks, outline of snail and for shadow below snail. For the shell, I used some paper that I made using the Tim Holz Ranger Alcohol Inks.

Sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas Stamp – Just because.
