Happy Easter to the Vet From Boo

Happy Easter Everyone!

Here is the latest card that I made for the vet from

our black cat Boo for this year.

Boo Easter 2015 front

The digi stamp is free from Sliekje’s digi stamps. (http://sliekje.blogspot.ca/).

Thanks for sharing Sliekje. Love your designs.

The little rabbits are from my new stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas (www.craftindesertdivas.com) Hunny Bunny stamp set. I just love it.

I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the little bunnies and the sentiment. Next I drew in the inside of the rabbit ears, face, hands, feet and tail with my Micron 05 Black pen. I used my copics to colour the background for the sentiment.

I used We R memory keepers Quickutz Nesting Frame 7 dies to cut the layers of coloured paper using my Cuttlebug.

Valentine’s Card for my Hubby

“Hi There,

Liked to share the card I made for my husband this year with you.

Forever Yours

For the front of the card, I used a design that I found in “Complete Cardmaking – Making Beautiful Cards with your PC” magazine.

The original design by Nancy Malaka can be found on page 27 and is called “Forever Yours”.

I uploaded the .jpg from the CD into Cricut Design Studio for the couple and then used the “Print and Cut” feature to print the image to my printer and then Cricut Explore to cut my image for me. Love this new feature!

Next, I used my Copic and Spectrum Noir markers to colour the image. PrismaColor Premier Pencils were used for creating more contrast and shadow.

Using Cricut Design Studio, I used the following cartridges:

Background: Paper Lace II – Gears

Lettering: Cricut Alphabet

Clock: Picturesque – Clockface Circle Card Seal

Clock Hands: Gypsy Wanderings – Clock Hand

Heart design: Elegant Edges – Heart Scallop Design Label

Scalloped Rectangles – Elegant Edges – Heart Rectangle Design Label (Removed Heart with Design Studio)

The following papers were used:

Some pink chalk to colour cheeks.

Boo’s Valentine Card

This was Boo’s Valentine card to the vet this year. I make cards for all occasions for her vet.

This is a little late getting posted, but I thought I would share it with you anyways.

To make this easel card, I used my Cricut Explore to cut the heart out of the cardstock and the really adorable cat from Miss Kate Cuttables.

The cat was a free svg download from http://www.misskatecuttables.com/.

It can be found here: http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/animals-pets/freebie-of-the-day-cute-valentine-kitty.php

I altered the pattern to give my cat pink paw pads and a tail that was all black.

The sentiment is from Peachy Keen stamps PKS-13 January 2103.

Happy Birthday Clown Card

Image

Hi There,

I’m entering this into the Peachy Keen contest for using their new June Stamp Release. I decided to make a clown Happy Birthday card. I stamped the Happy Birthday several times to create the impression that the clowns were singing “Happy Birthday”.

For this card, I used the stamps from PKSC-30 June 2014.

I used my Spectrum Markers to colour the clowns.

For Faces I used Gold Brown (GB) 4,5,6; Flesh (FS) 1,2,3,4; Tan(TN) 2,3,4. The cheeks were coloured with Coral (CR)4.

The clowns outfits were coloured using various other Spectrum marker colours. For the pompoms at the top of the clown hats, I used “FlowerSoft”.

I used my Cricut to cut out the world from the “Going Places” cartridge and surrounded the clowns around it.

I cut out various circles with my “Lifestyle Crafts L” Nested Circle cutting dies and used some coloured cardstock that I had on hand and then layered them. I then used an “Action Wobble Spring” behind the world so that you can spin the clowns.

The birthday paper background is from “Birthday Wishes Specialty Collection”.

Hope you like it!
