Kit and Clowder – Elemental2 Spirits!

Today I’m sharing a Birthday card that I made following a video from the Kit and ClowderDecember 2025 Markers – Elemental2 Spirits colouring class by Alyce Keegan.

The base card was created to the size of 5.5″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock. Using a mixture of blending brushes I began from the bottom of the front of the card just along the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon and Fired Brick. I did this to try and create a fiery effect to match the image.

The large die cut pattern was die cut using a Cuttlebug, die from Anna Griffin – 3D Square Cardcentric Compendium Dies and Recollections – Matte Gold Foil cardstock and popped up onto the base with U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape.

The image provided by Alyce was printed out with my HP Printer onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using High Quality Grayscale and coloured in with Copic markers. Once I finished colouring the image, Anna Griffin – 3D Square Cardcentric Compendium Dies were used to die cut the image with a Cuttlebug. The sentiment was cut from Paper Rose Studio – Happy Birthday Sentiment Sheets and then using some of the ink that was left on the brushes, I coloured over top of the embossing. The image and the sentiment were then popped up onto the card using U-Line double-sided foam tape.

Happy New Year 2026!!

Sharing the New Year’s card I made earlier this year using Gerda Steiner DesignsHappy New Year 2026 image.

To make the card, I created the base using Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb. to the size of 5.5″ x 4.25″. Recollections – Black cardstock was cut to the size of 5.5″ x 3.75″ and 2 pieces of Lawn Fawn – Let It Shine patterned paper were cut to the size of 5.5″ x .5″ each. The patterned paper was attached to the base card on the top and the bottom with double-side tape. Next, the black paper was centred between the 2 patterned pieces and adhered to the base using a combination of double-sided tape and liquid glue.

The image was imported into Microsoft Word and printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Using my Cuttlebug and dies from Lisa Horton Crafts – Stitched Rectangle – Hello. I coloured in the image with Copic markers and then using a Prismacolor Premier Black pencil, I traced around the image and character faces to make them stand out more. Once this was completed, I added snow to the sky and along the tops of the snow banks using a Gelly Roll Sakura #10 Pen. Stickles – Frosted Lace was applied to the snow drifts to add a little bit of glitter to the snow. Lastly, YNS Sparkly glitter black dots were added to the right bottom to finish it off.

Merry Christmouse!

Today I’m sharing a Christmas card that I made using DisDigiStamps – Twas the Night Before Christmas for the main image and sentiment from Jaded BlossomMouse Bites!

The image was printed out with my HP Printer onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using High Quality Grayscale and then die cut using a Cuttlebug and My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Layers. The image was coloured in with Copic markers and then a White Gelly Roll Sakura #10 Pen was applied to create the snow falling from the sky and snow drifts in the snow. Uni Posca Pens – Yellow, Light Blue and Red were applied to the bobbles in the tree and Uni Posca Pen – Gold was applied to blue present.

The base card was created to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium 110 lb. cardstock. The base pattern was cut to the same size using paper from Crafts Christmas and applied directly to base with double-sided tape. The gold frame for the image was die cut using a Cuttlebug, Chloe’s Crafts paper and My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Dies and the frame for the sentiment was die cut from Frosty Frame Festive Collection Die Sue Wilson Creative Expressions.

Then using a MISTI, navy blue paper from my stash and VersaMark ink, I used Jaded BlossomMouse Bites to stamp the sentiment. Ranger Embossing Powder White – Extra Fine Detail was applied on top of the ink. The embossing powder was heated with a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool and then die cut using Waffle Flower – Additional Oval dies.

The card was now ready to assemble. Double-sided tape was applied to the back of the image and sentiment and they were applied directly on the gold cuts. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the backs of the gold die cuts and then both were popped up and layered onto the card. Lastly, liquid glue was applied to the gold stars left over from the die cut and they were placed around the sentiment.

Today I’m sharing another Christmas card using Hunkydory – For the love of Stamps – Polar Bear Pals .

To create the card, I began with the card base using Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. folded to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″. Stampendous! – Quick Card Backgrounds – Winter Splash was cut to the same size as the base and applied with double-sided tape.

With Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and my MISTI, I stamped the image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I coloured in the image with Copic markers listed below and a Sakura Glaze – Black pen was used for the eyes, nose, buttons and mouth . The image was fussy cut, leaving a touch of white all around it and U-line Double-Sided Foam tape was applied.  The sentiment was stamped directly onto the background with Versa Fine – Onyx Black ink and Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder was applied over top of it. This was heat embossed using a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool. The image was then popped up onto the card. Lastly, Nellie’s – Effect Snow and mixed glitter were applied to the tree branches for some added sparkle.
