Sharing a sympathy card that I made using My Creative Time – My Thoughts Are With You Stamp and My Creative Time – Just Because.

Here is a close up:

To make the flowers in the vase, I stamped the image on some regular paper and then cut out the images to create a mask. Then I stamped the foreground flowers first on watercolour paper with Jet Black – Stazon Ink. Next I put the mask over them and then stamped the background flowers.

Coloured in the flowers with Tim Holtz Distress Ranger Ink and watercolour brush.

Purple flowers: Dusty Concord, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet

Pink Flowers: Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries and Candied Apple

Leaves: Mowed Lawn

Water in Vase: Salty Ocean

Stems: Zig Marker – Clover

Flower Centers: Stampin Up – More Mustard

Die cut the frame with My Creative Time – Stitched Squares Inside and Out. Outlined cut with Sharpie – Gold Medium Point – Water Based Paint.

Sentiment – My Creative Time – Inspire Die Cut and My Thoughts Are With You Stamp.
