Shake Your Ba-Donkey-Donk!

Hi There,

I’m excited to tell everyone that I’ve been accepted as a Card Designer for One Crazy Stamper High Hopes Stamps. Yay!!!

Today I’m sharing a birthday card that I made using a combination of High Hope Rubber Stamps – Party Donkey S113, Brayden’s Backside T066 and Warm Wishes S016. When I first saw the 2 donkey stamps, I knew just what I was going to do with them and it made me giggle just thinking about it! LOL! I hope that you get a giggle too!

I coloured in the High Hope Rubber Stamp – Party Donkey S113 on the front of the card and the fussy cut around the stamp. The cake is from the High Hopes Warm Wishes S016 stamp. I stamped it out and then fussy cut around it. I made the little flames using some spare yellow cardstock.

On the inside of the card, I decided to have some fun with the High Hopes – Brayden’s Backside T066. I stamped out the full image and then just the back haunches and tail. I coloured in both images and then fussy cut around them both. I attached the haunches using an Activation Wobble Spring. When you bring it to one side or the other. The butt shakes back and forth! LOL!

Here it is in action:

Cool Birthday

Hi There!

I created this cute birthday card using the adorable penguins from Your Next Stamp – Waddles – Happy Brrr-thday CYNS191.

I stamped all of the images using my MISTI – Most Incredible Stamping Tool with Memento – Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I coloured in all of the images using Copic markers and then fussy cut around the images.

On the igloo and birthday candles, I used a little bit of Wink of Stella – Clear to add some sparkle to it.

For the sentiment I first die cut the label using My Creative Time – Sentiment Label Dies and then stamped the image from the above stamp using Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder White – Extra Fine Detail.

The background paper is from Forever in Time – Birthday Blast – Perfect Prints – 6 x 6 in (15 cm x 15 cm).

Hope you like it!

Hubby’s Birthday

Hi There,

Celebrated my husband’s birthday recently. He loves dragons and golfing, so I thought this would be a fun card to make for him.

For the front of the card I stamped Whimsy – Bart Goes Golfing using my MISTI,  Memento – Tuxedo Black and Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Coloured image using Copics.

Here is a close-up:

Die Cuts – Quickutz – Nesting Frame 7

Background paper – Photo-Play “Party Girl” by Samantha Walker – 6″ x 6″ paper pad and Forever in Time – Birthday Blast – 6″x6″ paper pad

On the inside I stamped Whipper Snapper Designs – Inc. – #BBY920 – Birthday Dino using my MISTI,  Memento – Tuxedo Black and Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Coloured image using Copics. Then cut out with Die-namics MFT-521 Stitched Oval STAX using the Cuttlebug. Sentiment was designed using Microsoft Word on my computer and then I printed it out.
