Purfect Birthday!

Today I’m sharing a birthday card that I made using KLM Digital DesignsKitty – Flower Pot from the new October 2024 Release. This image also comes with the 2 other sentiments, “Let’s Pawty!” and “Hugs, kisses and a lot of Birthday wishes“.

The base card was created to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium 110 lb. cardstock. Forever in Time – Birthday Blast was cut to the size of 2″ x 5.5″ and adhered to the base with liquid glue.

The image and sentiment were printed out with my HP Printer onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using High Quality Grayscale. The image was coloured in with Copic markers and a Prismacolor Premier black pencil was used to colour in the eyes, the whiskers and add some deeper definition to the cat’s facial features and flower centres. Sakura Glaze – Black Pen was used to colour in the nose. Once the colouring of the image was completed, Copic marker BG000 was used to colour around the entire image and then it was fussy cut leaving a slim border. The sentiment was fussy cut and then attached to a scrap piece of Recollections – Matte Gold Foil cardstock using liquid glue. Once again, the sentiment was fussy cut.

The card was now ready to assemble. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the image and sentiment. Both items were popped up onto the card. Kraftin’ Kimmie – Fruity Dots were added to complete the card.

Today I’m sharing a card using KLM Digital DesignFloral Envelope – Daisy from the new April 2024 release. This stamp also comes with 2 other sentiments, “Happy Mail” and “Just for you”.

The image and sentiment were imported into Microsoft Word and printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Happy Mail

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you enjoyed the holidays and are looking forward to an amazing year ahead!

Today, I’m sharing a card using KLM Digital DesignFloral Envelope – Henna from the new January 2024 release. This stamp also comes with 2 other sentiments, “Sending you love and wishes” and “Just for you”. I chose to make the Happy Mail card, because who doesn’t love “Happy Mail’? I know I do.

Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb. was used to create a 5.5″ x 5.25″ card base.

The image was imported into Microsoft Word and I copied the image multiple times varying the size and changing the direction to create my own background using a 5.5″ x 4.25″ rectangle for the positioning of the graphics. A larger copy of the image was created and I added the wording on top of it in Microsoft word as well.  Once I was satisfied with the look, I printed everything out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card.

The image and background were coloured in with the Copic markers listed below and then a cutter was used to get nice clean lines. The rounded edges of the large envelope were fussy cut and then inked around the edges with a black Copic marker. The background was adhered to the base card with double-sided tape and the rounded corners were cut with a 1/2″ We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the large envelope image and it was popped up onto the card. Lastly, PinkFresh Studio Essentials – Ombre Glitter Drops: Sparkle & Shine were added to the centres of the background flowers to give the card a little bit of sparkle and to finish it off.

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  Floral Envelope – Henna – KLM Digital Designs

Inks: HP Printer Grayscale

Paper: Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card, Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb.

Holiday Wishes!!

Today, I’m sharing a Christmas card that I made using Dreamerland Crafts stamps called Holiday Wishes – D18031 May all of your holiday wishes come true this season for you and your loved ones!

To create this card I began by making a base of 5.5″ x 4.25″ using Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock. Recollections – Stardust Christmas paper was cut to be the same size as the base and then adhered to the card using double-sided tape. Lawn Fawn – Sparkle Cardstock in “Pixie Dust” paper was cut to 5.5″ x 1.25″ x 5.5″ x .75″. With my hands I tore along the top of both pieces to give the snow some texture. I applied double-sided tape to the larger piece and adhered it directly to the card. U-Line double-sided tape was applied to the smaller piece and it was popped up over top of the larger piece.

The base card was placed into my MISTI and the sentiment from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps – The Magic of Christmas was stamped onto it using VersaMark ink. Recollections Detail Embossing Powder – Silver was applied over top of the ink and then heat embossed using a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool. I removed this from the MISTI and stamped the main image with Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock. The image was coloured in and then fussy cut. With a black marker, I inked around all of the edges and then added U-Line Double-sided tape to the back of the image and popped it up onto the card and snow. Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff was placed under the couple’s boots and then heat embossed using a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool to puff it up. Stickles – Diamond was then added over top of the fluffy snow to create more sparkle. Finally, to complete the card, Stickles – Crystal was applied to the centre of the stars in the sky.

Birthday Wishes!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I made a card using High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fairy Flight – SLF036  for the image and Birthday Wishes – FDG024  for the sentiment. There are a lot of birthdays in our family during March, friends too, and this little birthday fairy is on her way to grant one of them their special birthday wishes.

To make my card this week, I began with a card base of Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock, cut and scored to be 5.5″ x 4.25″. Scrapbook.com – Roses Smooth Cardstock was adhered to the base using double-side tape.  I die cut Creative Memories – Mermaid Cove Designer Paper Pack using my Cuttlebug and My Creative Time – Rectangle Frame Layers and adhered it to the rose background using double-sided tape. Using Gina Marie Designs – Petite Looped Lace Rectangle Die Set, I die cut Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card.

The image and sentiment were then stamped with my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto the Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock. The image was coloured in with Copic Markers. I added some stars onto the dress with Gelly Roll Sakura #5 Pen and then used Wink of Stella – Clear over top of the flower, dress, shoes and wings. Using R85 and R83 Copic markers, I went around the edges of the die cut for the image to create a solid border. I fussy cut around the sentiment and ran it through my Xyron Create a Sticker. I attached the sentiment to Scrapbook.com – Peppermint Smooth Cardstock and fussy cut around it again. The card was now ready to finish being assembled. I applied U-Line double-sided tape to the back of the coloured image and sentiment and popped them up onto the card. Lastly, I added in some YNS Gumdrops to complete the card.
