Birthday – Pamper Me Paulina!

Hi There,

Sharing a birthday card that I made for a co-worker who is always helping others around our office tirelessly. She does a lot for all of us and I hope that she realizes just how much we all appreciate her. She is such a wonderful person and always makes you smile.

This Kraftin Kimmie stamp was perfect for the occasion and so were the sentiments that came with the stamp.

Hi There,

Sharing a card that I made for a lady at my workplace. She is going to be starting a new job and I thought it would be nice to wish her well. She was a super nice young woman and she will be missed. I wish her the best of luck!

For the front of the card, I created my own background using various Tim Holtz Ranger inks. I added a little bit of water and created a splatter background onto watercolour paper and then heat set it.

The image was from a former Kit and Clowder August 2016 Pencils monthly class using La La Land Crafts – Marci with Camera.

On the inside I created a little scene using stamps and embossing folder called Safari Friends which came free with Papercraft Essentials #145. Used Memento – Tuxedo Black and MISTI – Most Incredible Stamping Tool to stamp the images. Coloured in with a mixture of Copic and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

Die cuts from: PaperCrafter Today which also came free with their magazine.

Sympathy Card – Cat

Hi There!

Sharing a sympathy card that I made for a dear cousin that had to say goodbye to her little son around Christmas time. I say son, because to us, our cats are like children. We love them and cherish them in our lives everyday and it is heartbreaking when we have to let them go and say our final good-byes. We also lost our little girl last year and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her or the others that we’ve had to say good-bye to. So we know first hand how it feels when someone else we know loses their pet.

For the card front, I chose the little girl holding onto her cat because I thought it represented how we still hold onto our loved ones in our hearts long after they are gone. I left the cat white as “Spot” was a white cat.

Sharing a new card that I made for this year using High Hopes – Canadian Christmas Greeting RO48.

Thought this would make a great card for my friends overseas, so I tried to make it as Canadian as possible! LOL!

Stamped the image with my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Coloured in the image using Copic markers.

Dancing Snowmen Friends

Sharing a card that I made using High Hopes Rubber Stamps: Dancing Snowman Friends – TT139 and High Hopes Rubber Stamps: Holly Jolly KK048.

Went away for a really fun Scrapbooking weekend with the ladies from One Crazy Stamper and Scrapbook Niagara. One of the contests was to come up with card or Scrapbooking layout using the design and papers provided. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to do it again next year!

Here is the creation that I cam up with.

Close-up of the snowmen:

Stamped the images with Memento – Tuxedo Black using my MISTI. I then coloured all of the images in with a mixture of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. Then added in some snow using Wink of Stella – Glitter White, Nuvo Glitter Accents and sprinkling on some DecoArt Glamour Dust. For the sky I used Sharpie Water Based Paint – White – Extra Fine Point.

Happy Hallowe’en Everybody!

Sharing a card that I made using Polkadoodles – digital stamp Winnie Wednesday Witch and a mixture of Hampton Arts Hallowe’en stamps, stamped with Memento Ink using my Misti.

Here is a close-up of Winnie.

I used Copic markers to colour the images.

Embossed the background paper with Cuttlebug – Seeing Spots and then used Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Wilted Violet on the raised edges.

Background paper – Doodlebug Design Inc. – Hallowe’en Parade (6 in. x 6 in.)

Used my Cricut – Explore to cut out the “Happy Hallowe’en”.

Hubby’s Birthday

Hi There,

Celebrated my husband’s birthday recently. He loves dragons and golfing, so I thought this would be a fun card to make for him.

For the front of the card I stamped Whimsy – Bart Goes Golfing using my MISTI,  Memento – Tuxedo Black and Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Coloured image using Copics.

Background paper – Photo-Play “Party Girl” by Samantha Walker – 6″ x 6″ paper pad and Forever in Time – Birthday Blast – 6″x6″ paper pad

On the inside I stamped Whipper Snapper Designs – Inc. – #BBY920 – Birthday Dino using my MISTI,  Memento – Tuxedo Black and Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Coloured image using Copics. Then cut out with Die-namics MFT-521 Stitched Oval STAX using the Cuttlebug. Sentiment was designed using Microsoft Word on my computer and then I printed it out.
