Happy 28th Anniversary

Hi There,

Sharing a card that I made for my wonderful husband of 28 years a few years back, but never got around to posting. He’s been my best friend always and continues to be even more so as we get older together. Even after 28 years of marriage, we still never run out of things to talk about. I LOVE IT and him too! LOL!

Here is a close-up:

For the inside of the card, I wrote something special for him.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Used my MISTI and stamped images onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using Memento – Tuxedo Black ink. Coloured in images with Copic markers.

Stamp on Front: High Hopes Rubber Stamps – Dancing Hedgehogs S512.

Went away for a really fun Scrapbooking weekend with the ladies from One Crazy Stamper and Scrapbook Niagara. One of the contests was to come up with card or Scrapbooking layout using the design and papers provided. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to do it again next year!

Here is the creation that I cam up with.

Close-up of the snowmen:

Stamped the images with Memento – Tuxedo Black using my MISTI. I then coloured all of the images in with a mixture of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. Then added in some snow using Wink of Stella – Glitter White, Nuvo Glitter Accents and sprinkling on some DecoArt Glamour Dust. For the sky I used Sharpie Water Based Paint – White – Extra Fine Point.

Die Cuts:

Creative Expression Craft Dies by Sue Wilson – Noble Dies – Double Pierced Ovals.

Sizzix Framelits – 561152, Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Snowflakes

My Creative Time – More Stitched Circles

Paper:

Bo-Bunny’s – Mistletoe Twas the Night – ITEM#13001299 and Bo-Bunny’s Mistletoe Greetings – ITEM#13001294.

Recollections – Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper – 8.5 x 11″

Edged around paper with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Aged Mahagony.
