Pre-Colored Snowflake Gnome!

Today I’m sharing a Christmas CAS card that I made using KLM Digital DesignsPre-Colored Snowflake Gnome from the new December 2024 Release. This pre-coloured image makes it very easy to create lots of last minute Christmas cards.

The base card was created to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium 110 lb. cardstock. Whimsy Stamps – Blurry Flurries paper was cut to the same size and applied to the base card using double-sided tape.

The image was printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card and fussy cut. Joy Crafts – Merry Christmas Cutting Stencil was die cut using a Cuttlebug and Lawn Fawn – Sparkle Cardstock in “Pixie Dust” paper. This was applied along the top of the card using liquid glue. With a spatula, DecoArt Snow-Tex was applied along the bottom of the card and then some glitter was sprinkled onto it while it was still wet. Gentle pressure was used to push the glitter into the DecoArt Snow-Tex. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the upper part of the image and it was popped up onto the card. Lastly, Stickles – Diamond was applied along the bottom of the feet.

Sitting Gnome – Flower Pot!

Today I’m sharing a Spring card that I made using KLM Digital DesignsSitting Gnome – Flower Pot from the new December 2024 Release.

The base card was created to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium 110 lb. cardstock. Using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink – Salty Ocean and a blending brush, I applied the clouds in the sky with stencils that I had made previous using Avery Elle – Pierced Clouds Die. The grass was added in using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks – Mowed Lawn and Lawn Fawn – Clippings – Slimline Grassy Hillside Stencils.

The image was printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using High Quality Grayscale and coloured in with Copic markers listed below.  Using a Quickie Glue pen, I added some glitter to the butterfly dots, leaves and petals on the flowers. The image was fussy cut and a black marker was applied around the entire image. I applied a shadow in the grass where I knew I was going to position the flower pot. Then using stamps from Lawn Fawn – Garden Before ‘n Afters, I applied the sentiment with Versa Fine – Onyx Black ink. Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder was applied over top of the ink and then heat embossed using a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the image and it was popped up onto the card.

Sweet As Candy Canes!

Today I’m sharing a Christmas card that I made using KLM Digital DesignsCandy Cane Gnome II from the new October 2024 Release. This image also comes with 2 more sentiments, “Sugar & Stripes and everything nice!” and “Cane you believe it’s Christmas?”.

The base card was created to the size of 4.25″ x 5.5″ out of Hammermill – Premium 110 lb. cardstock. I had some dark green cardstock in my stash and decided to cut it to the same size as the base and glue it on. I loved the beautiful patterned paper from Craft Smith – Peppermint Twist and thought it went great with the image, so I cut that to be 4.25″ x 4.25″. The edges were inked around with Tim Holtz Distress Inks – Festive Berries and it was adhered to the centre of the card. AC Premium Candy Cane Ribbon was applied to the top and bottom of the card using double-sided tape.

The image and sentiment were printed out with my HP Printer onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using High Quality Grayscale and the image was coloured in with Copic markers listed below. Clear – Wink of Stella was then applied over all of the candy cane to make it sparkle. Both the image and the sentiment were fussy cut leaving a small white border around the image. The sentiment was coloured with YG61 Copic marker and then edged with a finger dauber and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Rustic Wilderness.

The card was now ready to assemble. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the image and sentiment and they were popped up onto the card. To finish it off 3 candy canes were added from Eyelet Outlet & Brads – Candy Cane using 2 layers of U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape after I had removed the back tabs from them.

Thankful!!

Today I’m sharing a CAS card using KLM Digital DesignPilgrim Gnome – Girl image and sentiment from the new August 2024 release. This stamp also comes with 2 more sentiments, “Hello Pumpkin” and “Oh my gourd, your awesome”. Thanksgiving is not that far off, but as the sentiment says, even without the season, “There is always something to be thankful for”.

To create this card, I began with a 6″ x 6″ card base using AC Cardstock – White. Craft Consortium – Happy Harvest patterned paper was cut to the same size and adhered to the base using double-sided tape. I thought this paper was the perfect background for the new stamp and sentiment.

I printed out the main image and sentiment onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using an HP Printer. After colouring in the image with Copic markers listed below, I  fussy cut around it and the sentiment. The sentiment was put through a Xyron Create a Sticker and attached to Recollections black cardstock. Then I fussy cut around it again. With a black marker, I inked around the entire image to give it a solid black line. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to the backs of the image and sentiment and they were both popped up onto the card.

Today I’m sharing a Father’s Day card using PolkadoodlesFishing Gnome For Men – Bundle that I made for my dad who lives to fish! Happy Father’s Day to all of the father’s out there and I hope you all enjoy your special day!

Lastly, I inserted the sentiments from the same digital stamp set and changed the background on them to a blue, leaving the black outline around the text. I moved one sentiment to the top and the other to the bottom. Once I was satisfied on how everything looked, I printed it out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card with my HP Printer.

With a Cuttlebug and Photo-Play – Circle Windows Etched Dies, I die cut Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock and Echo Park – Birthday Girl – Bouncing Balloons cardstock. With some scrap paper, I die cut the floral scalloped circle using dies from the same set.

I created a base card to the size of 8.5″ x 3.5″ using Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb. cardstock.  The edges of the the scalloped circle and patterned die cut were inked with a finger dauber and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Saltwater Taffy. Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Kitsch Flamingo and a finger dauber were used to ink all of the edges of the large patterned die cut and then it was attached directly to the base card using liquid glue.

Using my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink, the images were stamped onto the Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock circles. These were coloured in with Copic markers listed below and then applied to the base card using liquid glue. The sentiment was applied to the scalloped circle using a MISTI and Versa Fine – Onyx Black ink. Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder was applied to the ink and heat embossed with a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool. I applied the circle from the base card into the centre circle using liquid glue and then applied some Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Saltwater Taffy around the circle. U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape was applied to scalloped circle and 3 balloon brads and they were all popped up onto the card. Lastly, using various Stickles listed below, I added some sparkle to the small dots on the patterned paper to finish it off.

Bride To Be Gnome!

Today I’m sharing a Bride To Be card using KLM Digital DesignBridal Gnome II from the new March 2024 release. This image also comes with 3 more sentiments, “Congratulations”, “on your engagement” and “on your marriage”. My niece is getting married this year and I thought this would be a wonderful card for her.

The image and sentiment were imported into Microsoft Word and printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Using a Cuttlebug and dies from Spellbinders – Grand Arch 3D card, I die cut the image and Recollections – Matte Gold Foil cardstock was used to die cut the Trellis. The clouds were die cut using Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb. and Lawn Fawn – Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts dies. I created a base card using Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb. cardstock and for the front flap, I used Cuttlebug Embossing Folder – Swiss dots stencil and ran it through my Cuttlebug. The image was coloured in with the Copics listed below. The sentiment and gold background were cut and layered together using U-Line Double-Sided Foam Tape.

The card was now ready to assemble. Using liquid glue, I applied the gold trellis and coloured image directly to the base. The sentiment was popped up and centred onto the top of the card. Lastly, using some glue dots, I added in 3 flowers from my stash to both sides at the bottom of the card to give it some extra colour.

The image and sentiments were stamped onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cut to the size of 7″ x 5″ using my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink. The hearts were applied using Kraftin Kimmie – Happy Hearts Stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Lumberjack Plaid using a blending brush. Once this was completed, using the MISTI for placement, I applied the sentiments using Versa Fine – Onyx Black from the same stamp set. Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder was applied and then heat embossed with a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool. Using a finger dauber and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Picked Raspberry, the edges of the Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card were inked all around.  The coloured image was then applied to the base card using double-sided tape.

Flower Pot Gnome – Girl!

Today I’m sharing a Thank You card using KLM Digital DesignFlower Pot Gnome – Girl from the new February 2024 release. This image also comes with 2 more sentiments, “You are loved” and “Carry on with courage“.

The image and sentiment were imported into Microsoft Word and printed out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I had created a 5.5″ x 4.25 frame around the image before printing it out with a HP Printer. I also printed out a second image onto plain photocopy paper and fussy cut around it. The image was coloured in with the Copics listed below and then I attached the mask that I had created out of the plain paper over top of the coloured image. Using some stencils that I had created previously with Avery Elle – Pierced Clouds Dies and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Salty Ocean, I created the clouds with a blender brush. Once this was done, I coloured in the grass. The image was then cut to the size of 5.5″ x 4.25 and attached with double-sided tape to a card base of the same size using Hammermill – Premium Cardstock 110 lb.
