Woodland Santa


Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Christmas. YAY!!!  This week, I used Woodland Santa – R098 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and a sentiment from our new release called O Christmas Tree – GLL002 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps).

To create the scene, I cut out various sizes of trees and then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to colour them. I also cut out various layers of snow from Recollections – Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper. Other pieces from the same paper, I just tore for a variation in the snow. I ran all of the little trees and snow through the Xyron Creative Station which made it much easier to put the scene together. Lastly, I popped up the image and sentiment with 3M VHB – 2 sided tape.

Witchy Poo Hallowe’en


Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Hallowe’en.  This week, I used Witchy Poo with Kitty S145 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and decided she would make a great bookmark. Witchy Poo is all dressed up in her finest and ready for all of the little trick or treaters coming to visit. Kitty wasn’t overly excited but he’ll be participating too! LOL!

I decided to make it a spooky night sky for the background and added in stars with some Glitter Ink and Hologaphic Embossing. I also drew in the moon and clouds.

Lastly, to finish it off, I used some rub-ons that I had in my craft stash.

Go Vegan!


Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Fall.  This week, I made a pop-up card using Tom’s Plea (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) who is pleading with everyone to go Vegan! Unfortunately, for Tom, I will probably still have Turkey for Thanksgiving! For me, Tofu turkey is just not as good. I’m sure he will still be able to sway quite a few people though. Actually, for years, we had ravioli and meatballs for Thanksgiving, because I used to work in the food industry creating the weekly food flyers, by the time Thanksgiving day came , I didn’t even want to hear the word “turkey”. LOL!
