Gingerbread Dreams!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Christmas. YAY!!!  This week, I used Gingerbread House (S159) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and Gingerbread Dreams (E061) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment.

To make this card I stamped the Gingerbread House image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and my MISTI – Most Incredible Stamping Tool in order to give me a nice crisp image. I coloured in the image with a little guidance from Kit and Clowder’s Gingerbread house video created by Alyce. For the snow and candies, you can’t see it in this photo, but I used Spectrum Noir – Crystal Clear Sparkles. Once I finished colouring in the image, I fussy cut around it. I also stamped out the sentiment and fussy cut around that as well.

Next I used the Gingerbread Chain punch from Creative Memories to cut out my little gingerbread men and then used Gelly Roll Sakura #10 Pen to create the icing and a dab of Copic Marker #29 for the cheeks.

For the assembly of the card, I used 6″ x 6″ AC Autumn Cardstock for the base. I had a piece of Hot Buy Craft Smart – Holiday Glitz Glitter Paper from a previous project that I had worked on and layered this on top of the Gingerbread men paper from Doodlebug Design Inc. – Milk and Cookies.

Lastly I used 3M VHB – 2 sided tape to pop up all of the images and sentiment. I added in the little red embellishments to represent the little gingerbreads dreaming of their wonderful gingerbread house. LOL!

Snow Yummy!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are continuing to celebrating Christmas. This little snowman is enjoying his hot tub of warm cocoa outdoors in the snow. I’m sure he’s feeling so refreshed! LOL!

I stamped the image Snow Yummy (S182) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps), coloured it in with Copics and then fussy cut around it. You can’t see it in this photo, but I added glitter on the big snowflake too. I then embossed the background and popped up the die cut of the big mug with some pop-up tape. Lastly, I popped up the image as well and then finished off the card with the sentiment Holiday All Year (H200) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) which I heat embossed onto some shiny blue cardstock.

Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Christmas. YAY!!!  This week, I used Woodland Santa – R098 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and a sentiment from our new release called O Christmas Tree – GLL002 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps).

To create the scene, I cut out various sizes of trees and then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to colour them. I also cut out various layers of snow from Recollections – Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper. Other pieces from the same paper, I just tore for a variation in the snow. I ran all of the little trees and snow through the Xyron Creative Station which made it much easier to put the scene together. Lastly, I popped up the image and sentiment with 3M VHB – 2 sided tape.

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Hallowe’en.  This week, I used Monty Q109  (High Hopes Rubber Stamps).

I thought it would be fun to make him come out of a scary forest with the full moon behind him. I darkened the Birch trees in the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Hickory Smoke so that it would look like they were further in the background. Hallowe’en is coming and Monty is ready for a frightfully good time! Beware!!!!

Witchy Poo Hallowe’en

Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Hallowe’en.  This week, I used Witchy Poo with Kitty S145 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and decided she would make a great bookmark. Witchy Poo is all dressed up in her finest and ready for all of the little trick or treaters coming to visit. Kitty wasn’t overly excited but he’ll be participating too! LOL!

I decided to make it a spooky night sky for the background and added in stars with some Glitter Ink and Hologaphic Embossing. I also drew in the moon and clouds.

Lastly, to finish it off, I used some rub-ons that I had in my craft stash.

Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Fall.  This week, I made a pop-up card using Tom’s Plea (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) who is pleading with everyone to go Vegan! Unfortunately, for Tom, I will probably still have Turkey for Thanksgiving! For me, Tofu turkey is just not as good. I’m sure he will still be able to sway quite a few people though. Actually, for years, we had ravioli and meatballs for Thanksgiving, because I used to work in the food industry creating the weekly food flyers, by the time Thanksgiving day came , I didn’t even want to hear the word “turkey”. LOL!
