Dressing up the Christmas Tree

Welcome Back Dreamerland Craft Fans!

Welcome Back Dreamerland Craft Fans!

Dreamerland has just released some brand new stamps and today, I’m sharing When I Look into Your Eyes – D19059 (Dreamerland Crafts Clear Stamps)!  The image was coloured with copic markers.

I started out with main image and then created the wallpaper, base boards and carpet. Lastly, I inked around all of the edges with various Tim Holtz Distress inks and then popped up the image  and sentiment with 3M VHB – 2 sided tape.

Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Christmas. YAY!!!  This week, I used Woodland Santa – R098 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and a sentiment from our new release called O Christmas Tree – GLL002 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps).

To create the scene, I cut out various sizes of trees and then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to colour them. I also cut out various layers of snow from Recollections – Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper. Other pieces from the same paper, I just tore for a variation in the snow. I ran all of the little trees and snow through the Xyron Creative Station which made it much easier to put the scene together. Lastly, I popped up the image and sentiment with 3M VHB – 2 sided tape.

I thought it would be fun to make him come out of a scary forest with the full moon behind him. Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Hallowe’en.  This week, I used Witchy Poo with Kitty S145 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and decided she would make a great bookmark. Witchy Poo is all dressed up in her finest and ready for all of the little trick or treaters coming to visit. Kitty wasn’t overly excited but he’ll be participating too! LOL!

I decided to make it a spooky night sky for the background and added in stars with some Glitter Ink and Hologaphic Embossing. I also drew in the moon and clouds.

Lastly, to finish it off, I used some rub-ons that I had in my craft stash.

Dancing Ballerinas

Welcome Back Dreamerland Craft Fans!

Dreamerland has just released some brand new stamps and today, I’m sharing a birthday card I made using Dancing Partners D19060 (Dreamerland Crafts Clear Stamps)!  The image was coloured with copic markers.

After colouring the images, I fussy cut around them and decided to have them dancing on clouds to add to the magic.

Happy 30th Anniversary!

Hi There,

Last week, I celebrated my 30th Anniversary with my loving husband. For our wedding our theme was bears, so I when I saw this image from Critter Celebration (Penny Black Stamps), I fell in love with it. My husband loved his card too when I gave it to him!

I am so blessed and so lucky to have met such a kind and loving man to spend my life with. Together, we have accomplished so much together and our love continues to grow each and every day. He became my best friend when I met and he continues to be my best friend. I hope to have many, many more years ahead with him to explore the world and share our hopes and dreams with each other.

Welcome High Hopes Rubber Stamps Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Fall.  This week, I made a pop-up card using Tom’s Plea (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) who is pleading with everyone to go Vegan! Unfortunately, for Tom, I will probably still have Turkey for Thanksgiving! For me, Tofu turkey is just not as good. I’m sure he will still be able to sway quite a few people though. Actually, for years, we had ravioli and meatballs for Thanksgiving, because I used to work in the food industry creating the weekly food flyers, by the time Thanksgiving day came , I didn’t even want to hear the word “turkey”. LOL!
