Christmas Kitty Fun!!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I made a Christmas card using High Hopes Rubber Stamps Christmas Kitty Fun – S107 for the main image and Merry Christpaws – FLL006 for the sentiment. Our cats could never resist playing with our Christmas wrapping paper and playing in the boxes. I can’t even begin to count how many cardboard boxes they demolished over the years! LOL! Wishing you and all of your pets a very safe and joyous Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

To make my card this week, I began with a card base of 6″ x 6″ using AC Cardstock – White. I thought this patterned paper from Craft Smart – Hot Buy called Happy Pawlidays went perfect with this image and sentiment.

The image was stamped using my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock and Lawn Fawn – Let It Shine Snowflakes patterned paper. I coloured in the image and then fussy cut around it. With a black marker, I inked around the outside of the image.  I ran the patterned paper through my Xyron Creative Station to make it like a sticker and then fussy cut around the gift paper and paper pieced it onto the coloured image. The entire image was then adhered to the card using liquid glue. I removed the backing from the remainder of the gift portions and applied them directly to the card base as well. A few extra white and sparkly dots were added onto the patterned gift paper using a Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen and Gelly Roll Stardust – Clear pen. Stickles – Diamond was applied to the hat, pompom, snowflakes and dots on the background patterned paper to add some extra sparkle.

Using my MISTI and VersaMark ink, I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap piece of red cardstock. Ranger Embossing Powder White – Extra Fine Detail was applied over top of the ink and then heat set with a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool. This was die cut using my Cuttlebug and Pink & Main – Large Sentiment Strip Dies. The sentiment was popped up onto the top of the card using U-Line double-sided tape. Lastly, I glued on some embellishment buttons after removing the backings from Dress It Up – Holiday Collection – Itty Bitty Snowflakes and Dress It Up – Holiday Collection – Glitter Holly. Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door was inked around the outside edges of the card with a sponge dauber to finish it off.

Itty Bitty Heart!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I made a CAS card using High Hopes Rubber Stamps Sweetheart Gnome – SLF012  for the main image. I just love this sweet little gnome image as you can change the sentiments that she is holding onto. On this card, I chose to add a heart as I thought it would go great with the sentiment Itty Bitty Heart – H006.

To make my card this week, I began with a card base of Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock, cut and scored to be 5.5″ x 4.25″. For the background, I used my Cuttlebug, Scrapbook.com – Brights Smooth Cardstock and the embossing folder called Cuttlebug – Thank You. After putting this paper through my Cuttlebug, I saw that the texture was white on some of the letters. I decided to take some more of the background colour off using 3M 405N Tri-M-Ite sanding paper. I just loved the rustic effect it gave. With my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the image and sentiment onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock. The image was coloured in and fussy cut. A cutter was used to go around the sentiment. 3/8″ We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper was used to create the rounded corners. I inked around all of the edges of the sentiment with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door.

To assemble the card, I attached the embossed background directly to the base using double-sided tape. The sentiment and image were both popped up onto the card using U-Line double-sided tape to complete the card.

Card Recipe:

Stamp: Sweetheart Gnome – SLF012 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)

Sentiment: Itty Bitty Heart – H006 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)

Inks: Memento – Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door

Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug – Thank You

Tools: MISTI – Most Incredible Stamping Tool, U-Line double-sided tape, Cuttlebug

Toad-ally In Love!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I made a card using High Hopes Rubber Stamps Toad-ally In Love – M127  for the image and sentiment. I toad-ally love this sweet image because it can be used for both Valentine’s Day, an Anniversary or just to let someone know that you love them.

To make my card this week, I began with a card base of Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock, cut and scored to be 5″ x 5″. I used Picket Fence – Blending Brushes, Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Festive Berries, Fired Brick and Barn Door and Lawn Fawn – Lots of Hearts Background Stencils to create my card background. Using Lawn Fawn – Valentine’s Hearts Border and my Cuttlebug, I die cut some Craft Smith – Hot Buy – Green and Forever In Time – Texture Rouge cardstock and adhered the 2 pieces together with some glue. I did this twice and then glued the 2 finished pieces to the base card. With my MISTI and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the image onto the Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card cardstock. I then die cut it using Sizzix Framelets by Stephanie Barnard – 562676 – Hearts Dotted. The image was coloured in and popped up onto the background using U-line douhble-sided tape. I applied some glue onto the backs of 3 of the pre-cut hearts and placed them onto the base background to complete the card.

Lucky Dog!!

Sharing a card I made today using KLM Digital Design –  Fido’s Home from the new January 2022 release. We grew up having dogs in our family. They were all spoiled and loved very much! They may have thought they were the lucky ones, but deep down, I think we were.

I created the base using Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock to the size of 5.5″ x 4.25″. For the background, I used Kraftin’ Kimmie – Pawprints Stencil, a Picket Fence – Blending Brush and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Pumice Stone to create the paw prints. For the hearts, I used the same stencil, a small foam brush and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door. With my Cuttlebug and My Creative Time – Stitched Squares Inside and Out, I die cut the red square from Forever In Time – Texture Rouge cardstock.

I imported the image and sentiment into Microsoft Word and printed them out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I die cut the image using Waffle Flower – Nesting Square dies and the sentiment with My Creative Time – Stitched Zig Zag Ties. I inked around the edges of the sentiment die cut with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door and popped it up onto the base card using U-Line double-sided tape. The image was coloured in with Copic markers and the sky was created with Lawn Fawn – Cloudy Stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Salty Ocean and a mixture of Copic blue markers. The completed image was popped up onto the base card using U-Line double-sided tape to finish it off.

Baking Snowman!!

Sharing a card I made today using KLM Digital Designs – Baking Snowman from the July release. This image comes with 3 sentiments. I’ve used 1 on my card, but you also have the choice of  “Lovin’ from the oven” and “Wishing you a delicious Holiday”. Christmas at our house always had so many wonderful aromas from my mom baking all kinds of Christmas goodies for everyone!

To make the card, I first imported the image and sentiment into Microsoft Word and printed it out onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I die the image and frame using my Cuttlebug and Creative Expression Craft Dies by Sue Wilson – Paper Cuts Collection – Christmas Feast dies. I coloured the image in with Copic markers and then added in the snowflakes for the sky with Gelly Roll Sakura #10 Pen. Black PrismaColor Premier Pencil was used to outline parts of the image. Gina K Designs – Glitz Glitter Gel – Iridescent was added below the snowman to create the sparkling snow and the image was set aside to dry.

The frame for the sentiment die was cut twice using Gina Marie Designs – Nested Scalloped Stitched Rectangles. A cutter was used to remove the frame from the one that contained the sentiment. The edges were then inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door. Viva Decor – Inka-Gold – Yellowgold was applied to the other 2 frames and then once it was dry, a paper towel was used to buff them up and give the gold some shine. The sentiment was then applied directly to the small frame using double-sided tape.

The card was now ready to assemble. Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. was used to create the card base. It was sized at 8-5/8″ x 7¼” and then scored at 3-5/8″. I used my Couture Creations – Go Power and Emboss to die cut Hot Buy Craft Smart – Holiday Glitz Glitter Paper using PinkFresh Studio Essentials – Slim Stitched Rectangle Dies. The dimensions were the same as the base card. Using glue, I applied the large rectangle die-cut directly to the base card. Next, I used the outside frame for the snowman as a guide to where to place the coloured image. I removed the image and applied glue to the back of it and set it back inside the frame. Once the image was glued down to the base, I added glue to the back of the frame and moved it into place around the coloured image to complete the puzzle. 3M VHB – 2 sided tape was added to the back of the frame for the sentiment and it was added directly to the glitter paper. Lastly, to finish off my card, I removed the button parts from the backs of the buttons from Dress It Up – Holiday Collection – Christmas Cookies using my Tim Holtz scissors and pliers.  Mini Glue Dots were applied to the backs of each of the buttons and they were applied directly to the glitter paper.

Card Recipe:

Stamp and sentiment: Baking Snowman – KLM Digital Designs

C’mon Baby Light My Fire!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I used Walker Walter – TLF013 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and Walker Winnie – TLF012 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main images and Light My Fire – F154 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment. I thought I would create a Senior’s Valentine’s card with these fun images. This could also be used for an Anniversary card too. After all, you’re never too old to be in love!!!

To make my card this week, I used Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. for my base at 4.25″ x 5.5″. I taped down the card onto a glass mat and then used the stencils Flames – Honey Bee Stamps to create the background using various Tim Holtz Distress inks which I have listed below.

I stamped both the images and sentiment using my Misti and Memento – Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I coloured in the images using Copic Markers. Then I fussy cut around both images and in between the walkers. The sentiment was also fussy cut and I cut into 2 pieces to fit my design better. I added 2-sided tape to the back of my sentiments and then attached them to a small piece of Martha Stewart Crafts – Enchanted Woodland paper. Ran this through my Xyron Create a Sticker and then fussy cut around the sentiment again. I found the white too bright when I added it to the card, so I used Copic Y11 to give it some colour.

For the main images, once coloured, I ran both of them through my Xyron Creative Station and adhered them directly to the base. I used my Cuttlebug to cut some hearts out of Martha Stewart Crafts – Enchanted Woodland paper using Sizzix Framelets – Hearts Dotted die. Then I ran them through my Xyron Create a Sticker to change them into stickers and placed them directly onto the base. For the few spots on the images that I didn’t fussy cut, I used Copic markers YR23, YR16 and YR15 to fill in the white spaces.

Grad Gnome!!

My nephew graduated and I couldn’t resist sharing this adorable little Graduation Gnome With Diploma from KLM Digital Designs that I made for him. The image comes with 3 different sentiments, “Congrats Grad!”, which I’ve used on my card and also, “Congratulations” and “Today is your day!”.

To make the card, I printed out the main image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using my HP Printer. I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut around the image and coloured it in with Copic markers.

I used Hammermill paper to create the base shape of the card 8.5″ x 4.25″. I scored the paper at 4.25″. Then I used a mixture of Tim Holtz inks to create the background. Once I was satisfied with the look, I used Hammerill paper, my Cuttlebug and Your Next Stamp – Confetti Panel Die and popped this die cut up over the coloured background using 3M VHB – 2 sided tape. The sentiment was die cut using MFT – Die-namics Pierced Fishtail Flags, inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door and then popped up with 3M VHB – 2 sided tape.

The sentiment was popped up the same way to complete the card.

Love this adorable image and it can be used for so many different occasions, Valentine’s, which I’ve used here, Easter or even for an Anniversary card.

P.S. I Love You!!

Today, I’m sharing Loving Rat from KLM Digital Designs December Release. The image comes with 3 different sentiments, “Love You Most”, “Everything is Better with You” and “P.S. I Love You”. I was born in the Year of the Rat, so this image is extra special to me. Who couldn’t love that adorable face? LOL!

To make the card, I printed out the image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using my HP Printer. I coloured in the image with Copic markers and then I used my Brother Scan N’ Cut to cut around it, leaving a small white border. After it was coloured, I used a Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen to trace over the sentiment and add a sparkle to the eyes. I felt the finished image still needed something to make it pop on the background, so I ran the image through my Xyron Creative Station and adhered it to some Recollections Black cardstock. Then I fussy cut around the image again.

To create the card, I began with a base card of 4.25″ x 5.5″ using Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. paper. I cut K&Company – Kelly Panacci – KP Valentine – 30-599345 to the same size as the base and adhered it to the base using double-sided tape. I cut the top row of hearts from the same paper, added some glue to the back of it and placed it on the top of the card so that it matched the bottom pattern. Then I inked around all of the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door. I popped up the image onto the card using 3M VHB – 2 sided tape. I die cut some hearts using Sizzix Framelets by Stephanie Barnard – 562676 – Hearts Dotted, my Cuttlebug and Martha Stewart Crafts – Enchanted Woodland 12″ x 12″ paper. I really love the glitter of this paper. Lastly, I added the hearts with some glue to complete the card.

Buddy’s Present

It’s Wednesday, and this week I’m sharing another Christmas card featuring Buddy’s Gift Block – R161 from (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) with the sentiment Sm. Christmas Script – F051 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps). Buddy and his little birdie friend are all set for Christmas with his gift all wrapped up for you? How soon do you start wrapping presents for Christmas?

To create the card this week, I stamped the main image and then coloured it in with Copic Markers. Once it was all coloured in, I fussy cut around it and used a black marker to go around all of the edges. I used some 2-sided tape and placed it onto some white cardstock. Then I used my cutter  to cut a thin border all around the image. I repeated this process with some red cardstock and edged around all of the sides with Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Barn Door. I added some Stickles – Sea Glass around the inside border, Stickles – Icicle for the hat and pom-pom and some Clear – Wink of Stella to the all of the baubles and set everything aside to dry.

For the sentiment, I cut the the stamp in half so that I could place it on 2 lines. To stamp the sentiment, I used my MISTI, Versa Fine – Onyx Black ink and Ranger – Clear Super Fine Detail embossing powder. The powder was heat set using Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool.

For the base card I started out with white cardstock folded in half to create a 5.5″ x 4.25″ card. Doodlebug – Milk and Cookies paper was used for the background. I fussy cut along the bottom following the flow of the words. Some red cardstock was glued from the back onto the background paper and then I followed the flow of the previous cut to create a thin border. I repeated this process with some green cardstock. Once all of the 3 layers were complete, I cut the piece to be approximately 5-1/8″ x 3.25″. Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Mowed Lawn was used to go around all of the edges.

To assemble the card, I glued the combined background layers onto the base card.  The main image and frame created earlier were added using 3M VHB – 2 sided tape to complete the card.

Make it Rain!

Sharing a fun birthday card that I made for my husband this week using Make It Rain – CYNS728 (#YourNextStamp) for the main image and sentiment. I thought it would be fun to put the image inside a balloon too! Now if only that could be Lottery Winnings he was holding onto. LOL!

To make my card this week, I started out with a simple lime green card base, sized at 5.5″ x 4.25″.  For the bottom layer I used Hammermill – Premium Colour 100 lb. paper and multiple Tim Holtz inks which I have listed below. Then I die-cut the top layer with my Cuttlebug and #Your Next Stamp – Confetti Panel Die. Hammermill paper was used for this also. I mounted the bottom layer directly onto  the base card and then attached the top die-cut layer using 3M VHB – 2 sided tape.

For both of the sentiments, I used my MISTI, VeraMark ink and Ranger Embossing Powder White – Extra Fine Detail on black cardstock. Then a Marvy Uchida – Embossing Heat Tool was used to heat emboss the powder.

The balloon was die cut using My Creative Time – Stitched Circle Balloon Dies MCT-D137 to cut Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card which I then stamped the main image onto using Memento – Tuxedo Black ink and my MISTI. The image was coloured with Copic Markers.

To assemble the remainder of the card, the image and sentiment were popped up on top with 3M VHB – 2 sided tape. Some ribbon was tied to the bottom of the balloon and some Kraftin’ Kimmie dots were used.

It’s Pasture Birthday!

Welcome One Crazy Stamper Fans!

It’s Wednesday, and I’m back to share a card that I made using Farmer Clem (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) on the front of the card and Charlie Party Cow (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) on the inside. A friend asked me to create her a belated birthday card for her farmer friend and I thought this made the perfect combination to do it.

I coloured in Farmer Clem (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and then fussy cut around him and popped him up on the front of the card. All of the sentiments were created in Microsoft Word and then printed out on my printer. Details are below.

For the inside of my card, I stamped the Charlie Party Cow (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) twice and then fussy cut around both of the cows to make it look like they had a party going on. I popped up the one cow image to give the scene a little bit of depth.

Card Recipe:
